New Freedom Dual Diagnosis

Our New Freedom Dual Diagnosis offers safe medical detoxification to remove toxic substances in order to embark on a successful life of sobriety. 

The 3 Phases of our program include:

Phase One medically supervised detoxification by a professional medical team. 

Phase Two begins with our medical and therapy team to develop an individualized treatment plan with a holistic approach.  Our therapeutic approach includes daily groups led by our highly qualified staff; Dr. Paul Lee M.D., Psychiatrist, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors, Registered Nurses, and Licensed Social Workers. 

In Addition to Group Therapy, we offer individual and family counseling to address the myriad issues that contribute to alcoholism/addiction and prevent permanent recovery.

Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy by Ruth Whitely PhD, LPC-S,BCN,NCC.  She is an EAGALA Certified Equine Therapy Instructor. This provides a distinctive experiential framework designed to allow patients the latitude to discover, learn and grow from the horse-human relationship by utilizing EAGALA Model. 

Physical fitness classes offered by a trained physical fitness instructors to build and improve overall mood and confidence. 

12-Step meetings to assist clients in developing a fellowship of recovery support and enable them to examine damaging beliefs, self –concepts, and destructive patterns of behavior. 

Phase Three the final stage involves transitioning clients from inpatient into our Intensive Outpatient Chemical Dependency Program.  The core objectives during this final phase include:  

  • Relapse Prevention Skills
  • Managing Triggers and Cravings
  • Improve Healthy Life Skills
  • Employment Training
  • Boarding

Recovery is a continual, life-long process that requires abstinence from mood-altering substance, treatment of the co-occurring psychological illness, and daily application of spiritual principals found in 12-Step modalities.
